Bunny 16.11.11

16.11.11 – Well our little scamp has worked out how to get out of her jumper as we discovered when she proudly hopped out of her cage with it in her mouth!

She dropped it at her daddy’s feet and sat waiting for him to put it back on – she even waggled her head through the head hole – think she has discovered a new party trick!!

Bunny is loving her new feeding platform and taps side of bowl with her remaining front leg when she thinks she is due some food. Humphh this is slightly more often than we feel she is due! She may be playing the sympathy card, little scamp.

Have received the most amazing response to my first post – cannot thank you all enough for the peace of mind and feeling of support we have had and my heart goes out to you all with beloved family members suffering cancer x

  1. Oh, that so sounds like a beagle, demanding more food!

You will need to be careful about that – beagles are such chow hounds they can tend to gain a few lbs more than that outta – and being even slightly overweight is tough on a Tripawd! I am not very good at the tough love (my sis doesn’t call our house the Doggy Spa for nuthin’) but you will have to try to resist those big brown sweet beagle puppy eyes when she playing that sympathy card. (Our beagle would actually suck in her cheeks and make herself look ‘gaunt’ when she would beg. It was pretty funny.)

Can’t wait to see some pics of your girl!!! She sounds so adorable.

Hope she continues to recover well!

  2. labs pretty much the same as beagles – you will have to watch the wait. but it sounds like you are having some fun with her which is GREAT! all will be well, you are already seeing tripawd spirit. There are a couple more tripawd puppies if you search on the site and maybe you can contact them by private message with puppy-specific questions.

sucked in cheeks in Abby’s post – love it! I do that for myself, but have not yet seen my dog do it …
